Seit einiger Zeit wird das Forum der Sturmmöwe nicht mehr genutzt! Ich finde das sehr schade, denn es bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Z.B. könnten die nervigen Diskussionen, ob eine auf Amrum fotografierte Lachmöwe hier hochgeladen werden darf, dort geführt werden. Besser wäre noch eine Meldung wie: Fahre morgen zum Dümmer, wer kommt mit? Auch den Mauerseglerwanderpokal fand ich witzig! Vieles mehr kann man mit dem Forum anfangen! Ich habe heute 2 Beiträge ins Forum gesetzt und hoffe, dass sie dort Eure Beachtung finden!!!

Na ja, die Erklärung ist recht einfach: Das Forum "suckt". Ich würde vorschlagen, wir bauen auf dem bkn-Server ein modernes, neues Forum auf (Platz ist genug vorhanden) und starten dort einen neuen Versuch.

Foren sind in erbärmlicher Versuch, das Usenet im Web nachzubauen, ohne auch nur annähernd dessen Funktionalität, Universalität und Benutzbarkeit zu erreichen.

Der BKN-Server ist der Webserver für die Bezirkskonferenz Naturschutz, welcher netterweise von meinem Arbeitgeber (NIONEX GmbH) gesponsert wird. Dort wären noch Kapazitäten vorhanden, um ein modernes Forum mit allen "Bells and Whistles" zu betreiben, wenn denn wirklich Interesse vorhanden ist; ich fürchte allerdings auch, dass die "kritische Masse" nicht erreicht werden wird bzw. u. U. die Einstiegshürde zu hoch ist.

Die praktische Möglichkeit, Meldungen einfach per Email zu senden sollte sich auch implementieren lassen, aber das ist nicht ganz leicht.
Riesen Vorteil für Forum statt Blog wäre, dass jeder Einsteller von Meldungen möglicherweise mehr Rückmeldung erhält, als hier im Blog.
Nur mal eben ein paar Gedanken ... aber ich freu mich auch darüber, wie es jetzt läuft.
